Apply Group 7 fungicides like Elatus® Era preventatively or at early stages of disease development. Mix or rotate Group 7 fungicides like Elatus® Era with other effective modes of action. Always use the labelled rates. Follow good crop management factors, including crop rotation and residue management. Field scouting, appropriate fungicide timing and good application practices (like water volume, sprayer boom heights, and travel speeds) can all help support the prevention of resistance.
Make the first application prior to disease development, from first flower to prior to row closure. A second application can be made 10-14 days after the first application, when disease pressure is severe or when agronomic or weather conditions are conducive to disease development or movement. Do not apply more than two consecutive applications before switching to a non-group 7 fungicide.
