Ginseng

Take root early

Amatis™ is a biostimulant product that helps to improve the root zone (rhizosphere) and soil structure around plants, which promotes root growth. Young plants with healthy roots are more capable of reaching key nutrients and water, helping you grow a great crop.

The earliest indications from commercial trials have shown promising effects of Amatis on ginseng. See pictures from one trial, where the only difference was that Amatis was added to a drench fungicide application.

Megafol: Ginseng’s anti-stress and growth activator

Megafol® is a liquid foliar biostimulant specially formulated to help reduce abiotic stresses, including drought, heat, low temperature, and physical damage.

In the spring, freshly unfurled plants are sensitive to cold. Field experiences have shown Megafol can help prepare plants for a chilling event by stabilizing cell membrane integrity. A cold-regulated calcium-binding gene turns on when low temperatures occur, and Megafol induces this gene to work 8x more than in untreated plants, which is why they have been observed to recover faster.
