Syngenta deposit container return

Deposit container return policy and procedures

Only empty returnable containers will be picked up by Syngenta.

When a dealer has Syngenta returnable containers to return, they need to inform Syngenta Commercial Operations to schedule a pickup by doing one of the following:

Upon notification, Syngenta Commercial Operations will:

  • Fill out a container return order template based on the information supplied
  • Email the form to our carrier for pickup and retail contact if email address is available
  • Do a credit to the dealer for whatever containers returned, as reported by our warehouse

Please note:

  • Containers need to be empty and clean with seals intact and valves closed. A dealer may be invoiced for any damage an individual container may have
  • Containers should be consolidated at dealers as much as possible (we will not do farm pickups)

If the number of containers has changed from the initial paperwork sent to the carrier, when the carrier arrives, the driver and dealer rep must modify the amounts actually loaded and sign the return template accurately. Failure to do so may result in incorrect credits being processed.
